After renting a luxury vehicle (Mercedes C class) that was beyond raggedy at LaGuardia airport, I had to turn in at this facility, 95 miles later. There were no struts/shocks. I forgot to fill with gas so left after the young man checked me in. Came back and found out that damage to front passenger side had not been documented which automatically meant I had caused damage. Long story short, this was not this facilities issue. I was very upset and refused to fill out paperwork. As I asked the worker had all the damage been documented since there was so much because I didn’t want to be liable for it. He assured me that all damaged was documented. Well, it hadn’t been. One staff member asked me did I take photos. I told him in the 30 years I had reverted off and on from other companies I had NEVER had this issue nor had to take photos of rental car. The branch manager (Ramon Ryan) gave me an upgrade and much nicer vehicle. He also emailed the branch manager at LaGuardia (NYC) to explain the situation. I could tell that this facility was very well managed by Mr. Ryan. The cars were much nicer and all the employees were very helpful and professional. I highly recommend renting from the SIXT at this airport because you will be well taken care of and definitely will not be blamed for existing damage because this manager is very thorough which means he does his job very well!
