My experience with Sixt over the past 5 years has been on balance very good. The range of car choice, pricing (ex-extras), administration speed, access hours etc etc has been excellent. Where I feel there is room for improvement is a) the level of 'checks' done on the car upon its return - you get the feeling they are looking for something to issues to charge for and b) the cost of various grades of (extra) insurance cover is VERY expensive - particularly if you are booking the car for 10 days +. I have made suggestions to Sixt that there could/should be a sliding scale of such costs for longer term (say 8 days +) renters But for now I will continue with Sixt - as there are some membership benefits - not always honoured I will add :)
