Your way to SIXT

The SIXT counter is located in the rental car area at the airport. Domestic flight arrival: Please go left to the departure terminal, located on the 2nd floor. You will find the SIXT counter on the right-hand side, closest to the exit.

By car

Coming from Bergen, take motorway 555 until exit to get on road 557 through the tunnel (Knappetunnelen). After the tunnel continue straight through three roundabouts, before turning right in the fourth roundabout. Continue straight by following the signs to Flesland Airport. From there please follow road signs to car rental.

With public transport

Flybussen (airport coach) will take you to the airport. The bus starts from Bryggn Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Bergen city center. The last stop is Bergen Airport Flesland. An alternative is to take the light rail, "Bybanen" in Bergen city center. Bergen Airport Flesland is the last stop for the light rail.

SIXT Parking

You will find the SIXT parking in area P2 of the car park. To get there, please go down to the 1st floor and use the exit furthest to the left in the arrivals hall. Go left and around the corner, continue on the footpath that leads to the car park. Your SIXT vehicle is parked in the marked SIXT parking area on the first floor on the right-hand side, follow the signs for rental car parking when you enter the car park.

Vehicle Return

Please park your SIXT vehicle in one of our parking spaces in the marked SIXT parking area P2 in the parking garage on the first floor. The car key is delivered in the key box located at the SIXT counter in the departure terminal (2nd floor). Should the airport be closed, please call Securitas (their phone number can be found on the front door).

Problemfree rental. Car was new, clean and good to drive. Easy pick-up and return. The only reason why I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was that the company charges you 45 kroner per day (!!!) for using the toll road transponder. They call this "Autopass fee". Why?!? Then you get all the toll road charges ON TOP of this charge. The transponder is supposed to make it cheaper to drive on the toll roads, there is a discount, but Sixt seems to look at it as an extra way to earn money from the drivers. Not very nice.
