Your way to SIXT

By car: The SIXT branch is located at Wotanstrasse 9 in 80639 Munich. Take Landsberger Strasse to get to Wotanstrasse. You will find the SIXT branch directly after the Laimer underpass on the left-hand side. The entrance to the car park can be reached via a U-turn. With public transport: The SIXT branch is in the immediate vicinity of the "Laim Bahnhof" train station. When leaving the train station, keep left after the stairs and follow the underpass in the direction of Nymphenburg Palace. Immediately after the underpass, the SIXT branch is on the left-hand side.

Information about pick-up and return of rental cars

The entrance to our parking is on the right hand side of the branch. Please take the left entrance, which is marked by a huge SIXT sign. The garage door is opened until 9 pm.

Information about pick-up and return of vans and trucks

The parking lot for picking up and returning the van is located about 500 m from our branch at the end of Margarethe-Danzi-Strasse, 80639 Munich. From there, please follow the SIXT signs. Please allow 10 minutes for the walk from the branch to the van parking lot. Alternatively, you can drive your private car to the van parking lot and park there in one of the public parking lots during the rental. When returning the SIXT van, please park it in one of the marked SIXT parking spaces. Then please bring the key to our branch in Wotanstr. 9, 80639 Munich.

Parking for private vehicle

Passenger car: There are public parking lots with costs directly in the parking garage (Wotanstr. 9, 80639 Munich). Parking close to the branch: There are parking lots exempt from charges in the Margarethe-Danzi-Strasse (next to the Wotanstrasse). In case of a van or truck rental you can use your passenger car for driving to the separate parking of our vans and trucks and drop your car over there on one of the parking lots at no charge.

Please add more people on staff on public holidays. I waited in line for over 30 minutes because one person was helping out with a dispute and the other took on all the other check-ins. The line was ridiculously long and there were 3 other empty desks that could have been staffed. I'm sure this was quite stressful for the staff as it was for those picking up the rental. I will say the woman that helped me (worked on Nov 1st, dark hair, slick ponytail) was extremely nice and professional. It's refreshing to have that in Germany and I've lived here for over 8 years.
