The SIXT branch is located in the main station building at the Rundestraße/Raschplatz exit, at the rear entrance of the station, next to the Sparkasse ATMs.
By car
Via Messeschnellweg B3: Leave the Messeschnellweg (B3) at the Pferdeturm exit and drive towards the center onto Hans-Böckler Allee. After about 1 km turn right onto Berliner Allee, after about 1 km keep right next to the high bridge and turn left into Lister Meile. At the next traffic light turn left into Rundestraße to the car park Parkhaus am Hauptbahnhof. Via Westschnellweg B6: Coming from the A2, take the Westschnellweg (B6) at the Bremer Damm exit and follow the road for approx. 1 km. Then turn left onto Schlosswenderstr and continue straight onto Arndtstraße, after about 1km turn right onto Hamburger Allee, after about 0.5km turn right onto Rundestraße. After 500 meters you will reach the car park Parkhaus am Hauptbahnhof. Alternatively, if you are coming from Pattensen on the Westschnellweg (B6), leave the Zentrum exit onto Friedrich-Ebert Straße. Keep right and continue on Ritter-Brüning-Straße, after about 1.5 km keep right and drive onto Friedrichswall, after about 1km continue onto Aegidientorplatz, after 600 meters turn left onto Lavesstraße. After 200 meters turn half right onto Joachimstraße and after another 200 meters turn right onto Ernst-August-Platz. After about 250 meters turn left onto Rundestraße and drive 150 meters then turn left to the car park Parkhaus am Hauptbahnhof. Please DO NOT park in the "car park Rundestraße " (Kaufland).

The parking spaces for pick-up and return are located in the car park "Parkhaus am Hauptbahnhof" in the Rundestraße on the 4th floor. Use the elevator to the left of the branch. Please DO NOT park in the "car park Rundestraße" (Kaufland).

If you’ve booked a car at this place but you’re lost and don’t speak German, I’m here to help. First off, Google doesn’t take you to the right place. It takes you to the old location next to the Europcar. There’s a video screen still on for some reason which makes you think people work there, but they don’t. You want to go inside the train station further to find the new office near the Burger King. You’d think there’d be a sign or something at the old location telling you this, but that would make too much sense. At least the employee I worked with once I figured it out was great and I had a car in no time.
When it comes time to return your car, you need to go to Parkhaus am Hauptbahnhof which is on the opposite side of the station you exit and on. I didn’t ask specifically where to go beforehand and it’s not something that’s easy just to figure out. Park back on the 4th floor, drop your keys off at the office, and you’re done. Aside two very confusing steps, the rest of renting a car at this location was great.
