- Road conditions: Salzburg is nestled in the mountains. The roads in the area are generally in good condition, but if you leave the city itself you will encounter many narrow and winding roads.
- Toll roads: All of the highways in Austria are toll roads, but they are cashless and require a vignette, or a prepaid sticker on the windshield. Ask about our prepaid toll program for more information.
- Speed limits: Within the city of Salzburg, you will need to drive at a speed of 50 km/h (31 mph), while outside the city the speed limit is 100 km/h (62 mph).

Went there for exchanging a car picked up from Freilassing. The person at the branch was very helpful and willing to help us however possible. Unfortunately there were no cars that suited our needs but they called another nearby branch and helped us get a car.
